Grammar

I am no good at it! I'm sorry I wish I was better but it is what it is.

I think I found a place

Like I said I'm not a morning person. I missed my appointment.......then missed the next one. However, I believe everything happens for a reason.  I did end up going for a trail class in Plano, which is closer to my school anyway. I loved it and I plan on signing up for the next 3 months.  I have never felt so much peace doing an exercise.  As we were going through the movements my instructor was pointing out which organs I was working out. I'll upload stuff from their site later, but so, far so good :).

GOLD HORSE ACADEMY- TAI CHI PROGRAMS

TAI CHI PROGRAMS

SITTING WELLNESS PROTOCOLS

The exercises in this class are designed to gently introduce new students to Tai Chi movements while they are sitting; and to help those who are recovering from knee surgery or suffering from other conditions that can affect their ability to stand for an extended period of time, to benefit from or continue their Tai Chi practice.

STANDING WELLNESS PROTOCOLS

This class covers the basics of Tai Chi from a standing position with the option to return to a sitting position if necessary. Both the Sitting and Standing Protocols cover basics which will prepare the student for the Tai Chi Fundamentals class.

TAI CHI FUNDAMENTALS

In this class, the basic fundamental movements which make up the beginning Yang Style Tai Chi forms are covered.
Yang Style Tai Chi is the most popular and widely-practiced style in the world today and the second in terms of seniority among the primary five family styles of Tai Chi.
The Yang Style 24, 48 and 108 forms are all taught as a part of Gold Horse Academy's Program.

YANG STYLE TAI CHI

Yang style Tai Chi was founded by Yang Lu-ch’an, who studied under Ch’en Chang-hsing, who taught him Chen Style Tai Chi. He passed the art on to his second and third sons. The third son taught Yang Chengfu, who in turn modified the Yang Style by removing abrupt movements from the open hand form. Yang Chengfu also developed his own shortened version of the Yang Long Form in order to make it easier to teach to modern students who are busy with modern life.
The Yang Style Tai Chi forms have slow, steady, expansive and soft movements suitable for general practitioners. Correctly taught and practiced, the 108 movement form still retains much of its health and self-defence benefits (the original comprises over 300 movements).
The program also includes instruction in Tai Chi Sword and Fan forms.
Tomorrow we start with Tai Chi at The Gold Horse Academy located at The Yoga Hut in Denton.
Class starts at 7:10 am. I am not a morning person so this should be fun......
